1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR for the website poidata.com (poidata) is:
NIMTEG Nils Meyer und Detlev Gruner Freiberufliche IT-Dienstleistungen, Auguste-Viktoria-Straße 16, 24103 Kiel, Deutschland. Email: kontakt@nimteg.de.
2. Hosting
We host poidata.com with Vercel Inc., USA. Delivery and processing take place primarily on servers in the EU (Frankfurt region). As the provider is a US company, access or processing in the USA – in particular of the server log file data mentioned below – cannot be entirely excluded.
A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider. For the transfer to the USA we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). The legal basis for use is our legitimate interest in the secure and performant provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Server log files
When the website is accessed, the host automatically collects information in server log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system.
This data is used solely for technical provision, security and stability and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The logs are deleted after a short period.
4. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address and your message) in order to answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to enquiries). We store the data until your enquiry has been dealt with and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for operation. No marketing or tracking cookies are set, so no consent is required.
6. No web analytics, no tracking
We do not use any web analytics services, profiling or advertising trackers. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
7. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, an informal message to kontakt@nimteg.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
8. Validity of this policy
This privacy policy is dated June 2026. As the website develops or legal requirements change, it may need to be amended.
